This year brought the formation of a new supergroup comprised of Franz Ferdinand and glam rockers Sparks. Dubbed FFS, they released their self-titled debut to much acclaim in June. The outfit, which is currently wrapping up its first North American tour together this week, took its brand of theatrical dance-rock to the late-night circuit on Tuesday, performing LP track “Police Encounters” on the Late Late Show. Between the gyrations, elaborate hand gestures, and band’s vocal delivery, it was almost like watching a scene out of a Broadway musical.
