Here We Go Magic shares new song “Tokyo London US Korea” — listen

on October 05, 2015, 2:10pm

Be Small is the fourth studio album from Here We Go Magic, slated to hit shelves on October 16th courtesy of Secretly Canadian. The follow-up to 2012’s A Different Ship was self-recorded by the Brooklyn indie rock outfit, inspired by “inspired by Brian Eno and John Cale’s Wrong Way Up and Robert Wyatt’s Shleep.”

In July, the two-piece teased with the bubbly “Falling”; now, they’ve returned with “Tokyo London US Korea”. A busy, globe-trotting number, it’s marked by overlapping layers of frenetic guitar strum loops, murmuring synths, and a thudding beat. Frontman Luke Temple’s coo serves as the song’s cool, grounding through line. Check it out below via an accompanying clip directed by Dick Black.

In support of Be Small, Here We Go Magic have expanded its US tour; consult the full itinerary.
