Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips perform on SNL, announce tour — watch

Miley Cyrus pulled double duty on the season premiere of Saturday Night Live. For her musical performance, the provocative pop singer brought out The Flaming Lips for a live rendition of “Karen Don’t Be Sad” from their recent collaborative LP, Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz. Strangely enough, Cyrus was introduced by Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton. Later in the broadcast, Cyrus performed an emotional piano ballad version of “Twinkle Song”. Following their performance, Cyrus and The Lips announced a limited run of tour dates together.
