On November 6th, a new deluxe edition of the Beatles’ 1 compilation will hit store shelves. In addition to the band’s chart-topping songs, the updated collection boasts upwards of 50 restored films and videos dubbed “mini movies.” These clips were originally made for promotional use but never commercially released.

In a statement on the forthcoming reissue, Paul McCartney gushed, “These videos and films are spectacular reminders of the era we lived in,” adding, “They also rock!”

Ahead of 1’s re-release, one of these short films, a restored video for “A Day in the Life”, has surfaced online. The five-minute visual sees the Fab Four working alongside a 40-person orchestra during sessions from January and February of 1967.

As Mashable notes, initially, the classically trained musicians supposedly had trouble understanding the concept behind the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band closer. Fellow rock stars Keith Richards and Mick Jagger can also be spotted making cameos in the psychedelic clip.

Watch below.

Pre-orders for the reissue are ongoing.
