While thousands swarmed their local Walmart fighting for TVs at a price offered everyday of the week on Amazon, Kendrick Lamar was being a bit more productive with his time. Specifically, he decided to freestyle over J. Cole’s “A Tale of 2 Citiez” for a new track that he’s dubbed, “Black Friday”. J. Cole returned the favor, freestyling over K. Dot’s “Alright” for a track also called “Black Friday”. Listen to both below.

Kendrick’s “Black Friday” includes a public endorsement for Kanye West’s presidential run. “I’m yelling Mr. Kanye West for president/ He probly let me get some head inside the residence/ I’m in the White House goin’ all out/ Bumping College Dropout, yellin’ God bless Americans.” Another standout lyric: “Rolling deep in that paper like two Adeles.”

“Black Friday” marks Kendrick’s first solo track since his latest opus, To Pimp A Butterfly, released back in March. On Wednesday, however, he jumped on a remix of Jay Rock’s “Easy Bake” dubbed, “Traffic Jam”.
