In 2012, The Stone Roses reunited for the first time in over 15 years. The band toured the world through 2013, hitting a number of festivals along the way, but haven’t been heard from ever since. Now, though, they’ve announced their return to the stage with three dates for next summer.
The band, consisting of members Ian Brown, John Squire, Gary Manny “Mani” Mounfield, and Alan “Reni” John Wren, will first play a pair of dates — June 17th and 18th — at Manchester’s Etihad Stadium. They’ll then headline Scotland’s T in the Park on July 8th. No word yet on whether these are just part of a bigger tour plan, though bookmakers have them listed as second-most likely to headline Glastonbury behind only Adele.
