This three-year-old DJ just won South Africa’s Got Talent competition

on November 11, 2015, 4:51pm

Earlier today, we learned that Prince once fired Questlove from a DJ gig at a club, replacing him with a DVD screening of Finding Nemo. (Buuuurn.) Perhaps next time The Purple One is in need of some topnotch turntable talent he ought to look to South Africa, where a three-year-old DJ named Arch Jnr has captured the hearts of thousands.

The wunderkind, who started spinning when he was just 24 months old, is the youngest contestant to ever win South Africa’s Got Talent. Though he doesn’t quite have the veteran polish of say, Diplo or deadmau5, DJ Arch Jnr does show quite a bit of potential for someone who isn’t even old enough to step inside a school. (He can’t tell time, but a countdown clock of sorts tells him when to start his set.) Besides, what were **you** doing at age three? Probably eating crayons, let’s be honest.

Below, watch him work his toddler turntable magic.
