Ennio Morricone shares The Hateful Eight track “L’Ultima Diligenza di Red Rock – Versione Integrale” — listen

Quentin Tarantino’s forthcoming film, The Hateful Eight, features a Golden Globe-nominated score from Ennio Morricone — the legendary Italian composer’s first Western score in some 40 (!) years. Ahead of its official release on December 18th (including an exclusive vinyl edition from Jack White’s Third Man Records), Morricone’s shared a preview with the chilling seven-minute number “L’Ultima Diligenza di Red Rock – Versione Integrale”.

In addition to Morricone’s own original compositions — some of which were unused material originally penned for 1982’s The ThingThe Hateful Eight soundtrack includes songs from The White Stripes and Roy Orbison.

The Hateful Eight hits theaters select theaters on December 25th, 2015 screening exclusively in Ultra Panavision 70 mm film and will open wide on December 31st.
