Back in January, PJ Harvey holed up at London’s Somerset House and recorded a new album in sessions open to the public. The as-yet-untitled LP, her first since 2011’s Let England Shake, will finally surface in Spring 2016. In anticipation, she’s shared a brief teaser trailer featuring snippets of new music, which you can see below.
The album documents a “unique artistic journey which took her to Kosovo, Afghanistan and Washington, D.C,” according to a press release.
Harvey previewed several of the album tracks during an October concert at London’s Royal Festival Hall. Watch fan-shot performance footage of songs called “Chain of Keys” and “The Ministry of Social Affairs” below.
