Chance the Rapper, like his fellow hip-hop compatriots Future and Young Thug, never sits still for very long. In addition to working on a third mixtape, the Chicago MC has been busy hitting the studio with a host of artists, including BJ the Chicago Kid (“Church”), Skrillex (a Hundred Waters remix), and, most recently, Kanye West (The Life of Pablo).
On last night’s edition of Jimmy Kimmel Live, another one of Chance’s collaborations was highlighted: “All My Friends”, featuring Tinashe and British production duo Snakehips. (Sorry, it’s not a cover of LCD Soundsystem.) Together, all three artists took the stage to deliver a lively, feel-good performance of the R&B/pop/rap hybrid, an anthem of sorts that laments too much Friday night drinking. While they showed good chemistry, it was Chance — one of 2015’s Best Live Acts — who might’ve stolen the show with his smooth verse.
