In what’s perhaps the most exciting news, Chance hinted that a world tour behind his latest release is in the works. When asked if he had upcoming tour plans, he responded emphatically, “YES. SOON.” As for where he’d be stopping, he specifically responded to questions about Chicago, IL (“YES. ON THE SOUTH SIDE); Houston, TX (“Sooner than you think”); Australia (“YES”); and South America (a cryptic “……….”). It looks like those going to Bonnaroo might be in for a few surprise appearances, as well, as he said, “I love the Roo i will be camping again, see ya there.” He added that tickets for the forthcoming trek would soon be available on chanceraps.com.
Chance also mentioned some collaborations, both hypothetical and unreleased. He said that his long-gestating collaborative effort with Childish Gambino still exists, and that a Big Sean feature almost made it onto his recent release. “There was one on coloring book,” he said regarding Big Sean, “but they stopped me. :(.” In response to a question about Vic Mensa’s full-length debut, Traffic, Chance called it “his best work to date,” and added that he hopes to “get another verse on that bitch.” When someone asked what his dream collaborators would be, he listed, “50 cent, Robert Townsend, Randy Newman, Paul Giamatti and Stevie Wonder.”
“Everything is pretty much for her now,” he said when one fan pointed out that much of Coloring Book seemed to be geared towards Chance’s daughter. He also revealed the location of “the rink” from “Juke Jam” as “the roller rink on 87th by avalon park,” saying it’s the place where he “learned how to dance.” He added that his recently revealed track “Good Ass Kid” with Mick Jenkins and Alex Wiley was intended to be track 11 on Coloring Book, but got cut due to a sample clearance issue.
When asked what his favorite song on the new mixtape is, Chance had a lot to say. “How Great, The setup, the childrens choir, JAY!!!!!” he wrote. “My grandmother passed away a few weeks before we recorded and my cousin nicole sang How Great Is Our God and it crushed me, a week later i had her come to the [studio]. recorded her and Francis did his harmonizer thing. It’s so close to my heart.”
Finally, he said that Coloring Book will be available on Spotify and other platforms after a two-week exclusivity period with Apple Music expires.

— He said he finds Proverbs 8 verses 1-11 to be the most meaningful Bible verses:
8 Does not wisdom call out? Does not understanding raise her voice? 2 At the highest point along the way, where the paths meet, she takes her stand; 3 beside the gate leading into the city, at the entrance, she cries aloud: 4 “To you, O people, I call out; I raise my voice to all mankind. 5 You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. 6 Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. 7 My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness. 8 All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is crooked or perverse. 9 To the discerning all of them are right; they are upright to those who have found knowledge. 10 Choose my instruction instead of silver, knowledge rather than choice gold, 11 for wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire can compare with her.
