Already one of the world’s largest international broadcast events, the 61st Eurovision Song Contest was even bigger this year as it aired for American audiences for the first time. Making it even extra special was a guest performance by one of America’s biggest international stars: Justin Timberlake.
JT supported his new single from the Trolls soundtrack, “Can’t Stop the Feeling”, during the finale of the singing competition. Backed by a full band and some swinging backup singers, Timberlake showed that he still has all the right moves even after three years away. Watch the performance, which opens with him singing his 2002 smash hit “Rock Your Body”, above.
For the curious, this year’s Eurovision contest, held in Sweden, was won by Ukraine’s Jamala. Watch her performance of the winning song, “1944”, about the Soviet Union’s deportation of the Crimean Tatars in the 1940s, below.
