Michael B. Jordan must really love working with Ryan Coogler. Or maybe it’s the other way around? Who cares.
The rising champ has hopped on board Coogler’s latest picture, Black Panther. While his role remains undisclosed, it’s believed Jordan will play the villain against Chadwick Boseman’s titular hero.
Jordan’s casting comes less than 24 hours after reports surfaced that Lupita Nyong’o is currently in negotiations to star as Boseman’s love interest. She remains unconfirmed.
We’ll likely hear whether she’s official any day now, in addition to further casting. Coogler has plenty of time, though, as Black Panther won’t tear up the screen until February 2nd, 2018.
