For a band that eschews typical publicity practices, Philadelphia rockers Sheer Mag have grown quite a name for themselves. They don’t have a publicist, they don’t do many big interviews, and they don’t have any social media accounts. Based simply on the power of their blend of ’70s hard rock and garage punk, they’ve grown big enough to book spots at the likes of Coachella and Primavera Sound. And now they’re only going to get bigger, because last night they made their television debut on Seth Meyers.
Supporting their recent III EP, the Philly five-piece performed “Nobody’s Baby”. With frontwoman Tina Halladay belting out a guttural chorus with lines like, “I’m nobody’s baby/ I’m nobody’s girl,” they couldn’t have chosen a better song to exemplify their ethos for their national debut. Watch the performance above.
