“Weird Al” Yankovic fixes your grammar with “Word Crimes” performance on Colbert — watch

on May 20, 2016, 12:10pm

“Weird Al” Yankovic may have released Mandatory Fun last summer, but he’s still heavily supporting the number one record. He has a massive string of tour dates beginning in June, and last night he promoted the trek with an appearance on Colbert. The parodist performed his take on Robin Thicke’s “Blurred Lines”, the grammar Nazi favorite “Word Crimes”. While the video for the track played on all the studio’s screens (including the giant dome above the crowd), Yankovic danced around the stage, through the aisles, and even up on Colbert’s desk. Check out the performance above.

Yankovic also sat down on the comfy chairs to chat with the host about how he defines himself, why he plays accordion/is a sex god, and how he manages to never age. Watch that clip below.
