St. Vincent’s Annie Clark returned to the stage at New York’s Le Poisson Rouge on Tuesday night, marking her first live performance of 2016. Clark appeared alongside Father John Misty, Rufus Wainwright, and others as part of a benefit concert for Jasper Johnson. Jasper, the son of Clark’s drummer Matt Johnson, is recovering from a severe seizure suffered earlier this year.
During her time on stage, Clark debuted a new song, reportedly dedicated to her girlfriend Cara Delevingne, and also performed Bring Me Your Loves” from her 2014 self-titled album and “Marry Me”, the title track to her 2007 debut. More importantly, however, she dressed up as a toilet. Check out fan-shot footage below.
Clark has had a relatively low-key 2016 thus far, but is set to appear at David Lynch’s forthcoming music festival.
