Local Natives announce new album, Sunlit Youth, plus world tour

After teasing with tracks “Past Lives” and “Villainy”, indie rockers Local Natives have officially announced their new album. It’s titled Sunlit Youth and due out on September 9th via Loma Vista/Concord Music Group.

Sunlit Youth marks the group’s third album to date following 2013’s acclaimed Hummingbird. It spans 12 tracks, including the titles “Fountain of Youth”, “Jellyfish”, “Psycho Lovers”, as well the two aforementioned singles. Pre-orders have already begun over on the band’s official website.

In support of the upcoming LP, Local Natives have also lined up a massive world tour that kicks off next month. Along with dates across North America and Europe, the trek includes festival gigs at ForecastleLollapaloozaEnd of the Road, and Austin City Limits.
