on July 13, 2016, 3:45pm

Beyoncé, Chance the Rapper, Rihanna, ASAP Rocky, and others appear in a new PSA called “23 Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black in America”. Presented by Alicia Keys, the We Are Here Movement, and Mic, the emotional video sees celebrities of the music and TV world list the victims of police brutality and the innocuous, trivial things they did that cost them their lives.

“Riding in your girlfriend’s car with a child in the back,” Beyoncé says, referencing the fatal St. Paul shooting of Philando Castile. “Making eye contact,” notes Chance the Rapper, remembering the 2015 death of Baltimore resident Freddie Gray. Empire’s Taraji P. Henson recalls the recent Baton Rouge shooting of Alton Sterling, somberly saying, “Selling CDs outside of a supermarket.”

Bono, Janelle Monaé, Maxwell, Pharrell, Kevin Hart, Common, Chris Rock, Queen Latifah, and Lenny Kravitz, also appear in the clip, which you can watch above.

Last week, Beyoncé and Drake both penned poignant, urgent open letters addressing the country’s recent string of officer-involved shootings.
