Motörhead fuel bloody season two trailer for Ash Vs. Evil Dead — watch

on July 19, 2016, 5:34pm

“We gave peace a chance, now it’s time for war,” Bruce Campbell declares in the second season trailer for Starz’s excellent series, Ash Vs. Evil Dead. Much to my chagrin, we’re still a good two months removed from October, when the next chapter for Ashley Williams begins, but my oh my does it look like fun.

Deadites, demons, and Ted Raimi all party with the chainsaw-wielding lothario as the sultry sounds of Motörhead’s “Ace of Spades” notches up the action and mayhem. Last year, the show used iconic FM jams from Deep Purple, Alice Cooper, AC/DC, Funkadelic, and many more, so it’s nice to know they haven’t skipped a beat.

Once again, Ray Santiago, Dana DeLorenzo, and Lucy Lawless return for Mr. Stump’s Wild Ride, and as expected, it takes little time for them to be covered in buckets of blood. It would appear we’re in for a homecoming of sorts as Ash will have to leave his beloved Jacksonville, Florida to tend to evilish matters up in Michigan. Groovy.

Ash Vs. Evil Dead premieres this October on Starz. The first season is currently available on Blu-ray and you can revisit all of this writer’s lengthy weekly write ups over at The A.V. Club. Damn, those were some good times.
