Mumford and Sons become Blink-182 in the new video for “Brohemian Rhapsody” — watch

on July 07, 2016, 9:05pm

Mumford and Sons must be the name of an old-timey clothing company or something, because Marcus Mumford and Co. change their look more often than they make records these days. Last year, the time-traveling chameleons dropped their banjos and suspenders back in the 18th century, donned some shiny leather jackets, and play-acted as an cool-guy indie rock band on Wilder Mind.

The Wilder Mind look didn’t really work, but their latest move is actually worthy of some plaudits and even a few chuckles. In the new video for Blink-182’s 40-second California joke song “Brohemian Rhapsody”, The Mumfords dress up as the SoCal pop punks and make some mischief that involves a banana posing as a penis (hah! hah hah!). The members of Blink eventually walk in and ends their shenanigans, but kudos to the Mumfords for having a good sense of humor about their shapeshifting reputation. Check ’em out in the video for “Brohemian Rhapsody” above.
