When Sean S. Cunningham decided to ripoff the Halloween franchise with Friday the 13th, he always knew the gore would have to be crazier and bloodier with each passing sequel. Which is why by the seventh or eighth entry, the series had become a rock ’em and sock ’em parody of the horror genre, what with decapitations, torn limbs, and other means of filthy carnage.
Gun Media is hip to this, which is why their forthcoming Kickstarter-fueled video game looks equally violent. Recently, the fine producers of the game held a press conference at Seattle’s Pax West, where they unveiled a wild three-minute clip that highlights Tom Savini’s gloriously designed deaths, all set to the retro heavy metal sounds of Crazy Lixx.

Watch above and pre-order here. The game is expected to hits stores October for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
