Prior to hitting the road with Swedish heavy metal titans Ghost, gothic folk songwriter Marissa Nadler will issue an EP called Bury Your Name. The eight-track collection was written and recorded during the same sessions as her Strangers album, which came out back in May, and serves as “a companion piece” to that LP.

Ahead of its September 23rd release via Sacred Bones, Nadler has broken off “The Best You Ever Had”. “Call me your lover/ Call me the best you ever had,” she yearns, her voice so fragile and lace-like it seems to dissolve into thin air like a specter.
