Lollapalooza will once again hold festivals in Chile, Argentina, and Brazil in the Spring of 2017. According to Chilean newspaper La Tercera, Metallica, The Strokes, and The Weeknd have been tagged to headline the events.

Both Metallica and The Weeknd will be supporting new albums; the heavy metal legends are set to release Hardwired… to Self-Destruct on November 18th, while the R&B crooner will drop Starboy one week later on November 25th. The Strokes, meanwhile, returned with their Future Present Past EP earlier this year, and have teased more new music for 2017.

Lollapalooza is expected to formally announce the lineups for its South American festivals in early October.

Lollapalooza Brazil goes down March 25th – 26th in Sao Paulo; Lollapalooza Argentina takes place March 31st – April 1st at Buenos Aires; and Lollapalooza Chile runs April 1st – 2nd in Santiago.
