Leave it to one of today’s biggest female comedic stars to bring one of the icons of Hollywood’s heyday out of retirement. It took some convincing, but Amy Schumer has finally made her dream movie with Goldie Hawn, the Oscar-winner’s first film in a decade and a half. Today, we get our first look at the action comedy, entitled Snatched, ahead of its May 12th, 2017 release date.
Written by Katie Dippold (Ghostbusters) and directed by Jonathan Levine (The Night Before, 50/50), the film stars Schumer as a recently dumped adventure seeker. Stuck with a nonrefundable trip for two to Ecuador, she decides to take her overly cautious, vaguely clueless mother (Hawn) on a vacation to relive her glory days. Instead, they wind up kidnapped and well, hijinks ensue. Check out the new red band (i.e., slightly NSFW) trailer for the film above.
