on December 14, 2016, 12:30pm

Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme returned to the stage last night as part of a benefit concert for Dave Rosser. A longtime member of The Afghan Whigs, The Twilight Singers, and Gutter Twins, Rosser was recently diagnosed with inoperable colon cancer. The concert took place at Los Angeles’ Teragram Ballroom and also featured performances from Eagles of Death Metal, The Gutter Twins, Duff McKagan, and others.

For his part, Homme performed a rare solo acoustic set featuring an unreleased song called “Villains of Circumstance”, Them Crooked Vultures’ “Spinning in the Daffodils”, and covers of Johnny Cash’s “Dark as a Dungeon” and Cab Callaway’s “Minnie the Moocher”.
