Boston Calling has revealed its lineup for 2017, and it’s one of the better ones we’ve seen thus far.
Curated by The National’s Aaron Dessner, the lineup boasts Tool, Mumford and Sons, and Chance the Rapper as headliners. The undercard is equally impressive featuring the likes of Bon Iver, Sigur Rós, The xx, Run the Jewels, Solange, Weezer, Cage the Elephant, Tegan & Sara, Wolf Parade, Mac DeMarco, Danny Brown, Flatbush Zombies, Frightened Rabbit, Car Seat Headrest, Deerhoof, Modern Baseball, Mitski, PUP, Whitney, The Hotelier, Strand of Oaks, Hiss Golden Messenger, and Kevin Morby.
Other notable acts include Major Lazer, The 1975, Nataniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Brandi Carlile, Buffalo Tom, Piebald, Oh Wonder, Francis and the Lights, Lucy Dacus, Moses Sumney, and Majid Jordan, among others.
Boston Calling goes down May 26th – 28th at its new location, the Harvard Athletic Complex in Allston, Massachusetts. The move allowed organizers to expand its lineup and also add a film experience curated by Academy Award-winning actress, producer, and director Natalie Portman, along with comprehensive food, drink, and visual arts components.
Three-day general admission and VIP passes go on sale beginning today at 10:00 a.m. EST.
