Cage the Elephant perform “Cold Cold Cold” on Colbert — watch

on January 11, 2017, 8:40am

Cage the Elephant are ferocious performers, and they typically have a tour schedule to match. Even though their last album, Tell Me I’m Pretty, came out over a year ago, they’re still festival regulars in 2017 with appearances scheduled at Shaky Knees, BonnarooGovernors Ball, and Forecastle. But despite how often they’re on the road, they rarely slow down long enough for an appearance on late night TV, which makes their performance on last night’s episode of Colbert one worth watching. Flooded by a sea of red light, the band delivered their shimmying, Rolling Stones-inspired cut  “Cold Cold Cold”. Catch the replay above.
