Japandroids get near to the wild heart of Colbert with rollicking performance — watch

on February 01, 2017, 9:30am

You may have heard that everybody’s favorite Canadian rock duo released a new album last week, and that the incredible and unwieldy title of said album is Near to the Wild Heart of Life. Last night on Colbert, Japandroids put that title into action as they crashed through a performance of its titular track. It’s still hard to believe that two guys with two instruments can make this kind of holy racket, but Brian King and Dave Prowse made sure that everybody in the studio audience left with a ringing in their ears and a smile on their face. Check it out above.
