Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood will score new Daniel Day-Lewis film directed by Paul Thomas Anderson

Radiohead guitarist and accomplished composer Jonny Greenwood will provide the score for a new film by Paul Thomas Anderson, Focus Features has announced. The as-yet-untitled project, 1950’s New York fashion industry, star Daniel Day-Lewis and Lesley Manville. A release is due set for later this year.

This pairing shouldn’t come as too great a surprise, as Greenwood has become Anderson’s composer of choice in recent years. He first provided the unsettling score to the director’s 2007 film There Will Be Blood, and later wrote music for 2012’s The Master and 2014’s Inherent Vice.

Greenwood’s score for There Will Be Blood is currently being performed in its entirety by the London Contemporary Orchestra, who have embarked on a short tour of the UK. Check out a 360-degree video of their rehearsal below.
