Pink walked away empty-handed from the Grammys on Sunday, but she still had plenty to celebrate at home thanks to her adorable family.
After Pink’s Beautiful Trauma record lost Best Pop Vocal Album to Ariana Grande’s Sweetener, the 39-year-old singer was presented with perhaps an even better award: a homemade gramophone created by her seven-year-old daughter, Willow. The tin foil award was lovingly “engraved” with the words “Best Pop Vocal Album 2019 Grammy Awards Pink Beautiful Trauma.”
Pink posted a pic of the DIY prize on Instagram, along with a caption that reads, “Thanks Kids:) my favorite kind of award.” See the heartwarming photo below.
Although Pink nabbed zero wins last night, she is no stranger to the Academy. She’s earned herself three Grammys over the years, including Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for her smash hit “Trouble”. She’s also been nominated nearly every year since 2002 (!).
“I think it’s kind of rad that I just lost my 20th Grammy nomination,” Pink wrote on Twitter. “I’m always honored to be included. Now to get this sick baby in the bathtub. Congrats to all the nominees! Have fun tonight.”
Last week, Pink announced plans for a new album called Hurts to Be Human, which will likely arrive in April. The first single, “Walk Me Home”, is set to premiere on February 22nd.
