While receiving a MRI, Barker says technicians were unable to find a vein and stuck him at least 40 times in the arms with a dirty needle, causing him to suffer nerve damage and develop a staph infection.
Blood clots have sidelined Barker for most of the year.
Barker’s 14-year old son was also in the car at the time of the crash.
Barker’s now fighting off “thrombophlebitis in his bilateral and upper extremities as well as cellulitis.”
Barker is unable to perform until cleared to do so by his medical team.
Ahead of their Las Vegas residency, Mark Hoppus & co. also rocked “Kings of the Weekend”.
