Riot Fest is a 5-day music festival in Chicago that continually draws audience attention nationwide. The festival, now in its sixth year, prides itself on cultivating a diverse lineup consisting of buzzed-about reunions, one-offs, special guest appearances and popular punk mainstays.
Promoter Danny Wimmer Presents intends stage a few of its festivals in 2021, with others on hold until 2022.
The streaming industrial fest will feature new and rare performances, plus film and video screenings.
The fest will be part of the legendary metal act’s delayed 50th anniversary celebration.
The series contains previously “unseen archive footage” of the cursed three-day concert.
Live and archival performances will also come from Jack White, D’Angelo, Disclosure, and more.
The five dates lead to a November release.
Many bands who were slated to play the canceled 2020 fest will return, with some significant exceptions.
