The shock rocker was reportedly suffering from “heat poisoning.”
Concert officials were evacuating the venue when high winds knocked over trusses at the entrance.
Five people were seriously injured, but police said there were no known fatalities.
The band’s drum technician, Scott Johnson, lost his life in the incident.
“It offers no consolation, closure, or assurance that this kind of accident will not happen again,” the statement reads.
After a series of delays in the case, an Ontario judge has stayed the charges against each party involved.
