Promoter Danny Wimmer Presents intends stage a few of its festivals in 2021, with others on hold until 2022.
The three festivals were set to feature such acts as Metallica, Slipknot, Tool, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.
The metal icons will perform at the Epicenter, Welcome to Rockville, Sonic Temple, Louder Than Life, and Aftershock fests.
The band premiered “Descending” and “Invincible” as part of their headlining set at Welcome to Rockville.
The festivals include Welcome to Rockville, Epicenter, Sonic Temple, and Chicago Open Air.
Billy Idol also joined Foo Fighters for a cover of John Lennon’s “Gimme Some Truth”.
Avenged Sevenfold, Billy Idol, Stone Sour, Clutch, Baroness, and Quicksand also confirmed for Florida rock festival.
Lineups also revealed for sister festivals Fort Rock and Welcome to Rockville.
