Music at the Movies: Stephen King’s Top 5 Music Moments

on October 15, 2015, 3:25pm

Calling all film lovers and music buffs! Welcome to another edition of Music at the Movies. We’re coming to you from our brand new home at the historic Music Box Theatre in Chicago, where you can catch some of the best independent, foreign, and classic films all year round.

In honor of our week long celebration of all things Stephen King (and our special event happening at Chicago’s Music Box Theatre on Friday, October 16th), Blake Goble takes you through his list of the top five music moments from Stephen King films. Which scene from The Shining has him cowering in fear due to its spooky sounds? Will scenes from Misery or Carrie rank higher on his list? Tune in to find out…if you dare.

Please present your ticket to the usher, purchase all your concessions, and grab a seat because the show is about to start! And make sure to head to the Music Box website to check out showtimes, upcoming special events, and much more.

Make sure to follow Rock it Out! Blog on Twitter and Facebook, and subscribe to its YouTube channel.
